Jennifer Potter, CCC- SLP
A native of Tennessee, Jennifer received a Masters of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Memphis in 1998. For the last 18 years, she has spent time in the public school system evaluating and treating children with various communicative disorders, developing various programs and conducting workshops to educate others in the area of speech and language development, assessment and treatment. In 1999 Jennifer developed the preschool Language Enrichment and Application Program (LEAP) for 3- and 4-year-olds with speech-language impairments, autism and other developmental disabilities. The program integrated the use of typical peers as intervention agents and was recognized by the Tennessee State Department of Education. Jennifer has a special interest in integrating technology into therapy and is consistently seeking new applications of its use. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family exploring the many cultural opportunities Houston offers. She also enjoys running and Taekwondo. Since relocating to the Houston area Jennifer has found a new love- Shipley’s Doughnuts!

Michelle Cacciapaglia, PT
Michelle was raised in Baton Rouge, LA and got her Bachelor’s degree at LSU. She then moved to Houston to receive her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at TWU. After this she moved to New Jersey and practiced outpatient pediatric physical therapy for the next 4 years. During this time she attended multiple courses on neuro-developmental treatment, as well as treatment of Torticollis and children age 0-3 years old with developmental delay and neurological disorders. She also attended courses on therapeutic taping and treating pediatric and adolescent patients with sports or orthopedic injuries.
The snow and home sickness brought her back to Houston. She now lives in Friendswood and works full time at NTS. She loves being a pediatric physical therapist, as well as spending time with her husband and friends and family.

Jenny Shelton
Jenny earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree with a specialty in Communication Disorders from the University of Kansas in 1994. She received a Master of Science in Speech -Language Pathology from Central Missouri State University in 1996. She has worked in a variety of settings including: Long Term Care (3years), public schools (7 years) and private practice (4years). She has primarily provided assessment and therapy for children from 2-17 years of age. She has experience working with children with a variety of disorders. Jenny works at the Southeast location full time.

Donna Tharp
Donna received her associate degree at Kilgore College while participating in the Rangerette organization. She completed her bachelor degree in Speech Communication at UT Austin and received a masters’ degree in Special Education from TWU in Denton. She has been a speech therapist in Deer Park ISD for 29 years working with children of all ages. Donna has been with NTS since 2005.

Terry Owens
I graduated from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, M.N. with my B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. I received my M.A. in Communicative Disorders from the University of Pan American in Edinburg, TX. I’ve worked with adults and children in rehabilitation and home setting, but I’ve specialized mainly in pediatrics. I’ve been practicing for about eight years in the field and I’ve grown in knowledge and experience in the areas of language disorders, articulation/phonological processing disorders, sensory integration disorders, and pediatric feeding. I have the best job in the world!!!
